By empowering, equipping, and employing women who have worked or are vulnerable to being forced to work as sex workers, we aim to fight the problem of sex trafficking.

Women from similar backgrounds, education, and socioeconomic situations work alongside each other. They find safe community amongst people with shared experiences.  

To shine light into darkness, Firefly USA partners with a local social enterprise. A six-month holistic training program provides women from marginalized communities the skills needed to thrive in life and a cafe kitchen. Women receive job training, life skills, and English and math skills. After finishing a six-month training program women who desire to work have employment opportunities in cafes around the city. 

In addition to the hybrid training and business, we are raising capital to purchase the building where the social enterprise and other like-minded organizations operate.  We count on the financial generosity of fireflies worldwide to leave a glowing impact in Urban South Asia.
